Privacy Statement

We collect personal information when you contact us, ask for a quote, use our website assistant, use or download our free tools, view a proposal or presentation we send you, or use our Client Portal. This may include:

• your name, job title, company, email address and phone number
• details about your building, site or solar array that you choose to share
• messages you send through our forms, email or website assistant
• login details if you use the Client Portal
• when you open, view or respond to a proposal or presentation link we send you
• basic website usage information, such as pages visited and device type, collected through cookies and analytics tools
• recordings of your visit, such as the pages you view, your clicks and your scrolling, when session recording is switched on

Most of what we collect comes directly from you. We may also use publicly available business contact information when reaching out to organisations about our services.

We use your information to:

• respond to enquiries and prepare quotes and proposals
• plan and deliver our services, including site assessments, reports and follow-up
• manage our client relationships
• email you about new free tools, or when a tool you've asked about is ready, only if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• understand how our website is used, measure the results of our advertising, and improve the site

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business:

• Base44: hosts our website, forms, website assistant and Client Portal, and stores enquiries submitted through the site
• Notion: our customer relationship management system
• Google Workspace: our email
• Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads): website analytics and advertising measurement

Our website assistant is powered by artificial intelligence. Messages you type into it are processed by Base44 and its AI service providers to generate replies.

Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand, including in the United States. We use reputable providers with appropriate security safeguards. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Our drones capture photos, video and thermal images of buildings, roofs and solar arrays as part of our cleaning, survey and inspection work. Sometimes people, vehicles or neighbouring properties appear in that imagery incidentally.

To protect privacy, we:

• fly only for a lawful work purpose, with the permission of the property owner or manager
• plan flights to focus on the client's asset and avoid filming people or neighbouring private spaces where we can
• use clear signage or notice on site where people may be present during a flight
• use imagery only to deliver our services to the client, such as reports, condition assessments and digital models, and not for any other purpose without permission
• share imagery only with the client who commissioned the work, and with our service providers who store or process it
• blur or remove identifiable people from any imagery used in marketing or case studies
• keep imagery securely for as long as needed for the client's records, then delete it

If you think you've been captured in our drone imagery, you can ask to see it or ask us to remove or blur it. Contact our Privacy Officer using the details below.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

To keep our website working properly, we sometimes record short replays of how visitors move through it. A recording shows things like the pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and cursor movement, so we can see where people get stuck and fix the problem.

We use these recordings only to improve the site. We don't use them to build advertising profiles or to identify individual visitors. The platform that hosts our website makes these recordings on our behalf, and it may store them outside New Zealand.

No notice appears on screen while a session is being recorded, so we're telling you here instead. If you'd like to know more, or you'd prefer your visits not to be recorded, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below and we'll exclude them.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's wrong. To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer below. We'll respond within 20 working days.

If you're not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
